SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. ground chuck 1/4 c. bread crumbs 2 tsp. chopped onions 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. oil 1/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. pineapple juice 2 chopped green peppers 1 1/4 c. pineapple chunks Mix beef, crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. Make into balls and brown in oil. Drain. Remove balls. Combine sugar, cornstarch and stir in soy sauce, vinegar, water and pineapple juice. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add peppers and pineapple chunks, cook for 15 minutes. |
