FRENCH BREAD DIP 
1 (2 lb.) loaf of French bread
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. dried beef
1 can green chilies, chopped
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Slice cap off bread and hollow out in chunks. Mix remaining ingredients. Heat slowly in saucepan until cheese is melted. Pour mixture in bread and replace cap. Wrap in foil and bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Loosen foil, lift cap and bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve with bread cubes and corn chips.
