VEAL BALLS AND MUSHROOMS IN SOUR
CREAM
 
1 lb. ground veal
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. sour cream
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms

Mix veal, salt, pepper, eggs, and milk. Add parsley, onion, bread crumbs, and flour. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 20 balls. Brown meat balls in oil in skillet.

Combine mushrooms and liquid with sour cream and pour over meat balls. Simmer for 35 minutes. Good with buttered noodles or steamed rice. Serves 4-6.
