PUDDING LAYER CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
8 oz. tub cream cheese
Lg. tub Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
2 sm. boxes chocolate instant pudding

CRUST: Mix flour, butter and nuts. Pat into a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.

FIRST LAYER: Tub of cream cheese, 1/2 of Cool Whip and powdered sugar, mix and spread on cool crust.

SECOND LAYER: Instant pudding mixed according to package directions. Spread over top of cream cheese mixture.
