EASY BANANA PUDDING 
48 vanilla wafers
1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla pudding mix
2 1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp. butter
2 medium bananas, sliced
whipped cream or topping

Line the bottoms and sides of a 8 inch cake pan or 1 1/2 quart baking dish with wafers. Combine pudding mix, milk and butter in a sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Remove from heat.

Layer slices of banana over vanilla wafers, then add a layer of pudding. Repeat layers. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream or topping.
