REFRIGERATOR MUFFINS 
2 c. All Bran
2 c. shredded wheat (3 lg. biscuits)
2 c. boiling water
3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. dates, cut up
1 c. raisins
1 qt. buttermilk
5 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix all together in large bowl. Store in 1 gallon jar in refrigerator and use as needed. Place in greased muffin pans or use paper liners. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 5 dozen or more.
