CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. oil
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 or 12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix sugars and oil together thoroughly. Add flour, soda, salt, vanilla and chocolate chips to sugar, oil and egg until well blended. May use white chocolate chips or peanut butter.

Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
