3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening (can be 1/2 c. butter)
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 tsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
6 oz. chocolate chips

Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
