TEXAS BEANS 
1 lb. pinto beans
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 (4 oz.) can taco sauce
1 (4 oz.) can roasted green chili peppers with juice

Soak and cook beans according to package directions. Saute onion. Add ground beef and brown. Add tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, oregano, cumin, taco sauce and green chilies and their juice. Mix thoroughly in skillet. Let simmer 15 minutes on medium-low heat. Add to beans and mix well. Let simmer 15 minutes on medium-low heat.
