COUNTRY CORN BREAD 
3 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour (both self-rising)
1 egg
2 c. buttermilk
Water

Put 4 tablespoons oil in iron skillet. Heat skillet while mixing ingredients. Mix all ingredients. Make mixture thin. Pour into iron skillet. Place in preheated (425 degree) oven. Bake 45 minutes until golden brown.
