FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 (1 lb.) pkg. fettuccine noodles
1 pt. half & half
1/2 c. butter
1/2-3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. pepper or to taste

Cook fettuccine noodles in salted water until just done. Do not overcook. Drain.

In medium saucepan, mix half & half, butter, cheese and pepper until hot and smooth. Pour over noodles. Toss well and serve immediately. (It will be slightly soupy, but liquid absorbs quickly.) Put extra Parmesan on table. Can make fettuccine primavera by adding steaming veggies.
