NELL'S BLACK PEPPER PICKLES 
1 c. (4 c., 8 c. or 16 c.) vinegar
1 tbsp. (1/4 c., 1/2 c., or 1 c.) black pepper
1 tbsp. (1/4 c., 1/2 c., or 1 c.) sugar
1 tbsp. (1/4 c., 1/2 c., or 1 c.) salt
1 1/2 tsp. (2 tbsp., 4 tbsp., or 1/2 c.) prepared mustard
Sour pickles or cucumbers

Mix vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt and prepared mustard. Pour over cucumbers or drained purchased sour or dill pickles. Let sit 4 weeks. These are sour! and so good!

Make them with sour pickles and they are sooooooooo good! Use the juice for a 2nd batch, just as good.
