PICKLED BELL PEPPERS 
2 pts. cider vinegar
1 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
3 pts. bell peppers
2 c. sugar
Sm. garlic
2-4 sm. hot peppers to each jar

Cut peppers in halves and remove seeds. Cover with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes; drain. Cover again with boiling water and let come to a boil; let stand 10 minutes; drain. Scald jars. Fill hot jars with peppers and at bottom of each put 2 thin slices of garlic and 2 hot peppers. Boil vinegar, sugar, salt and water and pour over peppers in jars. Seal.
