GERMAN PICKLED PEPPERS 
Peppers
2 c. water
1 c. Heinz vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic salt to taste
Pinch of nutmeg
Slices of onion

Wash, seed and slice peppers into quarters. Place in prepared canning jars. Place one slice of onion on top. Bring water, vinegar, sugar and spices to a boil. Pour boiling vinegar mixture over peppers and seal jars immediately.
