GEORGIA'S BEEF ROLLS - CORDON

1 lb. ground beef, lean
Seasoning salt
1/3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried vegetable flakes
2 1/2 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
2 oz. thinly sliced Canadian bacon or ham
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom or celery soup
1/8 c. dry white wine (optional)

Mix beef, salt and vegetable flakes. Shape into rectangle or squares. Top each patty with cheese and bacon or ham. Roll up as in a jelly roll. Beat egg with water. Dip meat rolls into mixture, then roll each into seasoned crumbs. Saute in butter. Place in casserole. Pour excess drippings out of skillet. Pour milk into skillet, add undiluted soup and heat slowly, stirring constantly. Add wine. Pour over meat and bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 4.
