CREME DE MENTHE BROWNIES 
1 stick softened butter
2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. green creme de menthe
6 oz. chocolate pieces
6 tbsp. butter

Bake brownies in 9 x 13 inch pan using your favorite recipe or mix.

Mix 1 stick of butter with 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar. Add 2 tablespoons creme de menthe or enough to make a good spreading consistency. Frost brownies in pan and refrigerate until firm.

Melt 1 cup (6 ounce) chocolate pieces with 6 tablespoons butter over hot water or in microwave (2 1/2 minutes). Stir until smooth and cool until spreadable. Spread on top of creme de menthe frosting and return to refrigerator until firm. Cut in pieces. Keeps well in freezer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
