BAKED CHEESE SAVORY 
7 slices bread, cut in 2 inch sq., buttered
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated or sliced
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sherry

Arrange alternate layers of bread and cheese in a greased shallow baking dish. Beat eggs with paprika, salt, mustard. Add milk and wine. Pour over cheese and bread. Bake 50 or 60 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Good for lunch with green or fruit salad. May keep in refrigerator 2 days. Serves 4.
