WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks real butter 5 eggs 3 c. Soft-As-Silk flour 1/2 pt. whipping cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon flavoring or 1 tbsp. almond flavoring 2 c. sugar Beat together butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating after each one. Then add flour and cream. (Start with flour, adding cream alternately, ending with flour. Mix well after each). Add vanilla and flavoring. Bake in greased tube pan or double loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes. |
