SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1 med. head lettuce
1 c. diced celery
4 hard-cooked eggs, diced
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1 med. sized sweet onion, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in large glass bowl. Lay celery, eggs, bacon, green pepper, onion and peas on lettuce. Combine mayonnaise and sugar; spread on peas. Top with cheese. Chill, covered 8 to 10 hours or overnight. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
