SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1/2 lb. raw spinach or lettuce
Salt & pepper
1/2 lb. crumbled bacon
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 box frozen peas, thawed but not cooked
1 head lettuce or bibb lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 sweet onion, sliced in rings

Place spinach or lettuce in bottom of large bowl. Pat down. Salt and pepper. Put in layers the bacon, sliced eggs, and peas. Add torn lettuce until bowl is almost full. Then put onion rings.

DRESSING:

1/2 pt. sour cream
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise

Mix and pour over top of salad. Then sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Toss lightly before serving.
