STEAK HOT DISH 
1 lb. round steak, cubed
2 med. onions, diced
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can mushroom soup
1 can water
1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked & drained

Brown steak and onions in butter; add mushrooms, soup and water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer until tender. Add olives, cheese and noodles to meat mixture. When it is tender, mix well and put in casserole. Top with chow mein noodles if desired. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
