EVERLASTING SLAW 
SLAW:

1 qt. cabbage
1 pt. red cabbage
1/2 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. red & green peppers

Chop all together or run through a food grinder. Pour 2 cups of cold water and 1 tablespoon salt over above and let stand one hour. Drain well. Add 2 cups celery.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Bring to a boil, let cool and pour over cabbage mixture. Put in covered jars and refrigerate. Will keep two to three weeks.
