RUSSIAN TEACAKES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Sift flour, stir in salt. Add dry ingredients to butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 400 degrees, 10 to 12 minutes or until set, not brown. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Makes 4 dozen cookies. |
