ANNA'S PEEK-A-BOO CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling (or your choice)

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, flour and vanilla. Beat well, then spread batter evenly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Then mark into 20 or 24 squares.

Place 1 teaspoon pie filling in center of each square. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. When cool, sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar.
