PUPPY CHOW
6 cups Crispix cereal 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips 2 cups powdered sugar Melt peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave or on the stove. Stir into cereal. Put powdered sugar in a paper sack. Put cereal mixture in and shake until well coated. Submitted by: Poetry

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

You put the powdered sugar in a paper bag?? Could you use plastic ziploc as well? Seems like it would make less of a mess!!!

Yes, we always use a plastic ziploc bag. I think it is easier.

I use a whole 12 oz. box of cereal, and mix in a huge 12-in. Tupperware bowl with cover. Cinnamon lovers will enjoy using Hershey's cinnamon chips instead of chocolate chips.

This recipe is one of the best! I usually use a garbage bag, it's much more fun, especially when making this with younger kids. Getting your arms covered in chocolate, buttery peanut butter and then eating out of the garbage bag is the BEST!

Too much sauce to crispix ratio. Increase the crispix amount to a 17 oz box not 6 cups for the listed amount of sauce
