Took me a moment to realize this was for people. I was looking for recipies for dog treats and I know chocolate is not good for dogs. Hope no one else thinks it is a treat for dogs.

Quick question: Would I be able to put red and green sprinkles in with the powdered sugar to make the puppy chow more Christmassy? Would the powdered sugar just cover it up? Any suggestions on how to make this Christmassy if that wouldn't work?

I ADORE this recipe! Back in my day we called it Dog Food, or Kitty Litter. I was actively involved in my church's youth group, and we'd always have a bag on hand to munch. Wicked to see this on such a great web site. Yay!

Too much sauce to crispix ratio. Increase the crispix amount to a 17 oz box not 6 cups for the listed amount of sauce
