BEEF AND BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 can tomato soup
Salt and pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
Onion, chopped
Pepper, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can kidney (or pinto) beans
1 c. corn
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. milk

Brown onion and beef. Add soup, salt, pepper, chili powder, green pepper, 2 cups water. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Add beans and corn. Cook 15 minutes more. Pour into 2 quart baking dish. Mix cornmeal, sugar and milk. Pour on top (this will be thin). Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
