SCALLOPED POTATOES AND PORK
CHOPS
 
6 pork chops
1 tbsp. oil
5 c. sliced, raw potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/4 c. milk
Cheese slices

Brown chops on 1 side in oil. Place 1/2 of potatoes in greased baking pan. Top with cheese slices. Add remaining potatoes. Place chops, browned side up, on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook onions in drippings in skillet until tender. Add soup and milk. Heat, then pour over chops. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
