PARTY RIBS 
5 1/2 - 6 lbs. pork or beef ribs
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. butter
1 2/3 c. water
1 c. catsup
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. chili power
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Roast ribs in hot oven 450 degrees F. for 45 minutes. Pour off drippings. While meat is roasting, make BBQ sauce. Saute onion and garlic in butter. Add remaining ingredients and boil for 30 minutes over medium high heat. Pour sauce over ribs, cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Uncover and baste then bake 30-40 minutes longer or until tender. Skim off fat.
