QUICK YEAST ROLLS 
1/2 c. solid shortening
2 c. warm water
3 env. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
5-6 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt

Dissolve shortening in water. Add yeast, sugar and eggs. Start adding flour, 2 cups at first, and salt. Beat until smooth. Continue adding flour, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead for 5 minutes with mixer or by hand. Let rest covered for 5 minutes. Shape into balls and place in a greased baking pan with 1 1/2 or 2 inch sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Makes 5 dozen rolls or 2 loaves of bread. Butter tops.
