POTICA CAKE 
Cake:

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups dairy sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time to creamed mixture and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together three times and add slowly to creamed mixture alternating with the sour cream. Add vanilla.

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Pour a thin layer of batter and sprinkle with filling (see below). Continue to alternate, ending with batter on top.

Bake at 350°F for an hour and 15 minutes. Cool on rack for 15 minutes.

Remove from pan and when completely cooled sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Filling:

2 cup walnuts (ground)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp grated lemon rind

Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl.
