ICE CREAM PIE | |
2 pts. vanilla ice cream, any flavor will do 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. light corn syrup 2 14/4 c. Rice Krispies Hershey chocolate syrup Early in day, place 1 pint of ice cream in refrigerator to soften, about 30 minutes. In large bowl stir peanut butter and corn syrup until blended. Add Rice Krispies until well coated. Press mixture on bottom of 9 inch pie plate and form stand up edge along side. Spread softened 1 pint of ice cream into crust evenly. Freeze for 1 hour until firm. Pour layer of fudge sauce onto ice cream, approximately 1 cup. Return to freezer until sauce hardens, approximately 20 minutes. Remove 2nd pint of ice cream from freezer until slightly soft but not melted. Spread evenly over hardened layer of fudge sauce. Drizzle more fudge sauce over ice cream to make fancy design. Return to freezer until firm, approximately 3 hours. |
