TOMATO BACON CASSEROLE 
4 c. cubed day old bread
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs (lightly beaten)
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
Dash black pepper
8 to 10 slices (cooked and crumbled) bacon
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped peeled tomato

Butter 13 x 9 x 2 inch casserole dish. Arrange bread cubes in dish, sprinkle with cheese. Beat together next 5 ingredients with pepper to taste and pour evenly over cheese bread.

Sprinkle with bacon, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Cover and chill overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees until set about 1 hour.
