PINEAPPLE CREAM CAKE | |
2 eggs 1/2 c. shortening 2 c. white sugar 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 can crushed pineapple (1 lb. 4 oz. size) Blend eggs, shortening and sugar until creamy. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture along with pineapple (do NOT drain pineapple). Mix well and bake in floured and greased 9 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch size pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. ICING: 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1/2 stick butter 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Mix ingredients until creamy and ice cake while hot. |
