SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. spiced sausage
Potatoes
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 sm. can drained sauerkraut

Brown spiced sausage and drain. Boil peeled potatoes until done. Drain and mash with buttermilk. Add butter and salt to taste. Layer in casserole dish: Sausage. Spread sauerkraut over sausage evenly. Add mashed potatoes, then grated cheese. Bake until heated through (350 degrees) for 15-20 minutes. Serves 6.
