TEXAS JALAPENO CHEESE CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornbread mix
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 green onion, chopped
1/2 c. creamed corn
1/4 c. chopped jalapeno pepper
3/4 c. grated cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack or both)
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
Bacon bits, chopped pimiento, garlic (you decide which one (s) and how much)

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into buttered baking dish and bake at 425 degrees for about 25 minutes or until done.
