CREAM TACOS 
12 corn tortillas
2 tbsp. oil
Salt & pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. half and half
4 oz. dried green chilies
7 oz. taco sauce
3 c. chicken, cooked & boned or 1 1/2 lbs. ground round
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Pass tortillas through hot oil to soften. Drain on paper towel. Salt and tear into quarters. Set aside.

Saute onion in vegetable oil, add 1/2 of half and half, chilies, salt, pepper, taco sauce. Simmer 5 minutes to make sauce.

In buttered 2 quart casserole, layer tortillas, chicken or beef, grated cheese and sauce. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
