COUNTRY APPLE ROLL-UPS 
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
8 oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2 apples, peeled, cored and quartered

Separate dough into 8 triangles; sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over each. Place apple slice on wide end of triangle and roll up. Place tip down in 9-inch round pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 egg

Combine and spoon evenly over baked rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake an additional 15 minutes. 8 servings.
