CONCIE'S APPLE CONCOCTION 
2 apples (med. sized)
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. orange juice

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Separate crescents into long triangles. Cut triangles lengthwise so that you have 16 triangles in all. Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into eight pieces. Roll each slice of apple up in a crescent roll triangle, starting at the long end. Place each rolled apple piece side by side in a baking pan.

Drizzle the slices with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; then sprinkle mixture over the concoction. Pour orange juice into the bottom of the pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
