PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 to 8 pork chops
Thin sliced potatoes
Butter
Sliced onion
Sauerkraut
Salt and pepper to taste

Butter a 9 x 15 inch loaf pan and cover the bottom with thinly sliced onion rings. On top of the onions, place the sauerkraut and next place the potatoes (enough for your family). Salt and pepper to taste and dot with butter. Place uncooked pork chops over the top and cover with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour. Remove the foil and continue baking 1/2 hour until chops brown. This casserole can be varied by adding other vegetables in place of sauerkraut such as carrots but is delicious with the sauerkraut.
