1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. sugar 5 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 3 tbsp. lemon juice FROSTING FOR LEMON LOVES: 1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 1/2 stick butter 2-3 tsp. lemon juice Mix first 3 ingredients. Press into a 9 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Sift sugar, flour and baking powder. Beat eggs with lemon juice. Mix with flour and pour in crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and frost with powdered sugar creamed with butter and enough lemon juice to make a spreading consistency. |
