CHERRY LOVE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. flour

Mix and spread in 9 x 9 inch pan. Press firmly. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped cherries
2 tbsp. cherry juice

Beat eggs, add sugar, vanilla, cherries and juice. Mix dry ingredients and add with coconut and nuts to egg mixture. Spread over baked crust and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown and center is done. When cool, ice with cherry icing.

CHERRY ICING:

1/4 c. cherry juice
1 tbsp. butter

Heat to boiling stage, add powdered sugar to spreading consistency. Add milk or cream as needed. This frosting adds the necessary final touch.
