CHOCOLATE OATMEAL BROWNIES | |
1 c. butter, softened 2/3 c. granulated sugar 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. rolled oats 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and spices to butter mixture. Stir in oats and 1 cup of the chocolate bits. Spread in ungreased large cake pan (oblong). Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cut into 2-inch squares when cooled. |
