APPLE PIE 
6 apples
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
Betty Crocker pie crust mix
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Pare and slice apples. Sift dry ingredients together (sugar, salt and flour) and mix with apples. Line pie pan (8 3/4 inch round by 1 3/4 inch deep) with pie crust, fill with apple mixture. Dot with butter. For top mix dry pie crust mix, slivers of butter and sugar to taste.

Bake in very hot oven at 450°F for 15 minutes, reduce temperature to moderate oven 350°F and bake 45 minutes longer.
