APPLE CRUMB PIE 
9-inch unbaked pie shell

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
6-7 c. sliced and peeled apples
2 tbsp. butter

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar firmly packed
1 c. flour

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare pie shell as directed on package. For filling combine dry ingredients. Add apples and mix thoroughly. Place in pie shell. Dot with butter.

Prepare crumb topping: Mix softened butter with dry ingredients. Sprinkle on top of filling. Bake for 45-55 minutes.

First time making this pie and it was absolutely delicious...lasted only 2 days in my house! I think I will be making this recipe, in the future, verses a regular old 2 crusted pie...this pie melts in your mouth and you just want more!!
