GRANNY'S PECAN PIE 
1 c. Karo syrup (light)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/2 pecans
1 pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend syrup, sugar, butter, and eggs until smooth. Stir in vanilla.

Pour into unbaked pie shell; sprinkle the pecans evenly over filling.

Bake for 50 minutes at 375°F, this will toast the pecans and gives it a different taste. When crust browns, place a ring of foil over crust to keep it from burning. Also up the butter to 1/2 cup. Make it melted butter.
