CRANBERRY LIQUOR 
3 lbs. or 12 c. cranberries
6 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 fifth 190 proof Everclear

First day: Crush berries and let stand 24 hours at room temperature. (Frozen berries crush easier in blender.)

Second day: Add Everclear to crushed berries and let stand 24 hours at room temperature. Boil 6 cups sugar and 3 cups water for 5 minutes. Cool. Refrigerate.

Used to do this recipe using low bush cranberries in Alaska and gave away as gifts. be careful you cant taste the everlclear, and it tastes great.

Yes be careful. Hubbie took it to hunting Camp, drank it like wine, got great photos but had a hell of a headache :)
