EASY CREAMY CHICKEN CURRY | |
It really is very good - you have to try it! 8 chicken thighs (I remove skin) 1 onion, diced 1 apple, diced 2 to 4 tsp. curry powder 1 cup cream 2/3 cup milk 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup Sauté onion and apple in oil for a few minutes, then add curry powder, depending on how hot you like your curry. For our family of three children, we use three teaspoons... Add the cream, milk and soup and blend. Add the chicken thighs and turn down to the lowest heat until cooked. Take care to stir now and then so it doesn't stick and perhaps turn the chicken once or twice. When cooked, taste the sauce. You may want to add a bit more curry powder. If you want a thicker sauce, take the chicken out and add a bit of cornstarch mixed with a bit of water and it comes up beautifully. If you want to cook this in the oven, it's basically the same.
