SUGAR COVERED PEANUTS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts, shelled

Put water and sugar in heavy saucepan with medium heat. Put in raw peanuts, cook, stirring constantly, until all syrup disappears. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes. Shake pan every one in a while.
