UPSIDE-DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE
CAKE
 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar

Icing (Optional):

1/2 stick butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 box powdered sugar

Spread coconut in 9 x 13 ungreased pan. Spread nuts on top of coconut. Prepare mix by directions on box and pour on top. Soften 1 stick butter and beat in cream cheese and box of powdered sugar; will be very thick. Spread on cake mix and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until done.

Icing: Boil butter, cocoa and milk; after it reaches boiling point, add vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat well.
